The roller conveyors

The roller conveyors are among the simplest, since they consist solely of aluminium structures on which the pivot rollers are mounted. The roller conveyors can be divided into non-driven and driven. Non-driven roller conveyors use only momentum of the conveyed part (which is conveyed by the employee) or take advantage of gravity (gravity roller conveyors).

Conveyed part in this type of roller conveyors has at the exit of the roller always less potential energy than at the entrance of the roller conveyor. In the case of the driven roller conveyors with a conveyor element (chain, o-ring, etc.), the rollers are connected so that they can be driven with an electric motor.
